These elderly ladies buy state sponsored lottery tickets, and resell them on the streets for .50 each. They barely sell enough in a day to subsist themselves, let alone, their families.

This lady, in her 80’s, took her son (in his 50’s) who had a debilitated stroke (by hired motorcycle driver) to this Buddhist temple for day care so she could go sell lottery tickets, She picked him up in the evening. Once home everyday, she would go collect plastic bags and wash them on the river bank to sell for some extra money for her and her son to live on. 
We found a man in need so we helped him too.
